Projection Research

Before I start making my projections, I need to take a look at existing artists that use projections in their work - by doing this, I will be able to gain a better understanding of how projection artists work and a clearer idea of how the projections themselves work and the limits that they can be pushed to.

From looking at these projections, it is clear that a lot of artists feature automobiles within their work as the shape and structure of them provide for a more creative and shapely canvas, as opposed to a wall. Whereas in the last video, you can see people making the wall have artificial curves for the animation to project onto.
