Over the week commencing Monday 14th October 2013, my fellow students packed their bags and hopped on the train to Paris - la capitale de la France. However, I decided to stay in The City of London and explore the city in ways I have never explored before. I ventured round trying to avoid the tube enabling me to view all the various parts of the city - from posh to slums. Travelling around on foot - no matter how tiring - allowing me to take all the side streets and back alleys. This opened me up to a whole world of photography. Some of the sights were gritty and dull, whilst others were exuberant and bright - this extreme contrast made for some very interesting and detailed captures.
